It has happened again. Through all the offseason optimism, the Cleveland Browns sit at 0-2 in the NFL standings, with no help in sight. The struggles of the Browns have come partially due to injuries, but overall, they have failed to get it done in the second half. Not being able to finish games has been a consistent theme for this franchise over the past few years, perhaps the only thing consistent about the team.
Injuries have no doubt impacted the first two games, as they have had to do it without the help of running backs Montario Hardesty and Dion Lewis, offensive guards Shaun Lauvao and Jason Pinkston as well as the suspension of wide receiver Josh Gordon. With those injuries piling up, and a suffering depth chart in hand, the Browns have struggled to find an identity on offense. In turn, they have failed to move the chains and instead have relied on an emerging Jordan Cameron as their sole weapon on the field.
While running back Trent Richardson has not made the impact many h...

Look at the bright side folks, if you owned Trent Richardson, your numbers are going to go up. A great back to pick up now is Willis McGahee. @RapSheet: After trading Trent Richardson, the #Browns will bring in RB Willis McGahee tomorrow. They plan to sign him if he passes a physical I remember the […]
What did the Browns former number one pick Trent (give me the ball coach) Richardson show us today? He showed us, the Cleveland Browns once again used a number one pick on a guy that is a hug disappointment to all Browns fans. All week since the Browns lost to the Miami Dolphins all we heard in the Cleveland area was how many carries Richardson had. Today in Baltimore the Browns...
“I think the proof in that will come as we keep playing. I think that people are going to see that we need to play hard and prepare and do everything that we can every week. Coach is going to do everything that he can to support that. I think they’ll see as we go out on the field that that is not the case.” -Joe Banner
Well except for this week of course. This week on the road...

The Cleveland Browns have traded running back Trent Richardson to the Indianapolis Colts in a surprise move less than two years after drafting him in the first round.
The Browns (0-2), struggling on offense under new coach Rob Chudzinski, announced the move Wednesday afternoon. They will also bring in veteran running back Willis McGahee for a physical.

I guess the Cleveland Browns just gave up on the season. Mike Wilkening of NBCSports reports that the Cleveland Browns traded running back Trent Richardson to the Indianapolis Colts for a 2014 first-round draft pick. The Browns obviously did not think that Richardson could be their feature RB.To me this move is like a huge onion. It has so many layers. I understand it on...
Cleveland fans are having a tough time figuring out what their franchise is doing after it was reported that the Browns had traded star running back Trent Richardson to the Indianapolis Colts this afternoon. Well, you can count Ohio State lineman Marcus Hall among them. Hall couldn’t barely put how he was feeling into words. Via cleveland.com:

The Indianapolis Colts used to be a kind of boring team off the field. They didn't do much in free agency or with trades and really looked to build through the draft--but not anymore. Under new general manager Ryan Grigson the team has not been afraid to do what it takes to make the team better.
Like trade for last season's No. 3 overall pick, Trent Richardson, two games...
No, you didn’t read the title wrong. The Cleveland Browns have decided to move their franchise cornerstone, running back Trent Richardson to the Indianapolis Colts who just recently lost Vick Ballard for the season.
Richardson, drafted out of Alabama in 2012, played in 15 games his rookie season, accumulating 950 yards on the ground and another 367 through the air on 318 touches...
BEREA, Ohio — Browns third-string quarterback Brian Hoyer will start Sunday against Minnesota in place of Brandon Weeden, who sprained his right thumb last week. Cleveland surprisingly decided to go with Hoyer over more experienced backup Jason Campbell.
Campbell came in for one series in the fourth quarter against Baltimore after Weeden injured his thumb when he banged it on a...
The Cleveland Browns traded Trent Richardson to the Indianapolis Colts on Thursday in exchange for a first-round draft pick in 2014. He will take over as Indy’s lead back after Ahmad Bradshaw was thrust into a full-time starting role following Vick Ballard’s season-ending knee injury. Earlier on Wednesday, Colts owner Jim Irsay hinted on Twitter […]

It did not take for the Browns to narrow down their search for Trent Richardson‘s replacement.
Shortly after finalizing the deal to send Richardson to Indianapolis for a first-round pick, Cleveland announced that free-agent running back Willis McGahee will come in for a physical on Thursday.
Both CBSSports.com’s Jason La Canfora and NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport report that the team...
The Indianapolis Colts shocked the NFL by announcing that they were going ahead with a trade to bring Cleveland Browns running back Trent Richardson to Nap Town. However, if you follow Colts owner Jim Irsay on Twitter you knew it--or something--was coming.
That is, if you could translate what Irsay was tweeting.
