One of the biggest parts of the Bills offense is Fred Jackson, but it seems like it might be up in the air Sunday whether or not he’ll play. Bills running back Fred Jackson represents 40 percent of Buffalo’s offense, which has fallen on hard times the past three weeks. After sustaining what he called a leg “bruise” Sunday against Miami, Jackson insisted he’ll be fine, but head coach Chan Gailey wasn’t quite as sure on Monday. “He’s banged up, but we’ll have to wait and see,” said Gailey. “I don’t know if I can give you a good answer right now. He’s hurting and I doubt he would practice early in the week, but we hope to have him late in the week.” Jackson has been the engine that makes that offense go, and his status will be huge.  Even if Jackson can play, the Jets did a good job of corralling him the last time they played.  It comes down to setting the edge, and trusting a team’s defensive line and nickel linebackers to make the tackles on the running backs out of that spread set the
