The Chicago Bears take on the Jacksonville Jaguars this week, and as Mike Florio of Pro Fottball Talk reminds us, Maurice Jones-Drew wasn't quite nice to him on Twitter when he questioned his toughness for the world to see. “All I’m saying is that he can finish the game on a hurt knee… I played the whole season on one.” Jones said on Twitter after Cutler took himself out of the NFL title game due to a knee injury. They'll face each other for the first time since the incident, but MJD doesn't think the Twitter post was a big deal and there's really nothing to apologize about. “I think I explained that enough two years ago,” he told ESPN Chicago. “I really don’t want to get into that. I never got a chance to work it out with him... That was two years ago. I’m just happy that he’s smiling. You know for a while he wasn’t smiling during the year and you always want to see players having fun and enjoying the game. So it’s good to see him smile.” Cutler too was asked to talk about it. His response? “There’s nothing to talk about.”
