With LateGate in the rear-view mirror, the Patriots practiced inside. What happened?

Remember the last time a major snowstorm hit New England? It spawned the not-so-cleverly named LateGate, when four players were sent home for not being on time. Then Adalius Thomas went off about his Jetsons car. Guess what? In a nice bookend to the whole incident, it was Patriots QB Tom Brady who said today, “Everyone’s here, ready to work, getting ready for the biggest game of the year.” Running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis was more specific, saying, “Everyone got here on time.” Oh, and coach Bill Belichick added, “Everyone’s here.” Just one more contrast to last year. So what happened at a Patriots moved indoors because they couldn’t get the snow cleared? Colleague Karen Guregian  made the trek over to let me know what happened. (more…)
