TEAMS: Chicago Bears
Chicago Bears receiver Brandon Marshall feels if the team had a tight end of Martellus Bennett’s caliber in 2012, he wouldn’t have needed hip surgery. The constant double teams took a tool on the receiver’s body. He feels that Bennett and his speed adn athletic ability will command a lot of attention and keep opposing secondaries from rolling their coverage to his or fellow receiver Alshon Jeffries’ side. "I am (looking forward to having more weapons)," Marshall said, via Sarah Spain of ESPN Chicago. "It was tough sledding last year. I think that's why I had to have the surgery. I had 2-3 guys on me every single play, but bringing in big boy Martellus, I don't think the league really knows how good he is. I didn't know, and that was one of my great friends in the league. So I'm excited to see him, he's going to be awesome this year for us."
