Buffalo Bills wide receiver Roscoe Parrish, on injured reserve since Week 3 with an ankle injury, is scheduled to be an unrestricted free agent, but hopes to return to the Bills next season, Rodney McKissic of The Buffalo News reports. "I'd love to be back here," said Parrish. "I've been with this team my whole career. Most definitely, I'd love to be back here...I need to continue to do what I can do on my end, that's the only thing that I can control. "It's up to them." The 29-year-old Parrish also finished 2010 on injured reserve with a broken wrist, but when healthy, can be an effective slot receiver. Parrish was well on his way to a breakout season in 2010 before his injury, catching 33 passes for a career-high 400 yards and two touchdowns in eight games. Parrish caught just one pass for 16 yards before injuring his ankle in September.

The Buffalo Bills need Ryan Fitzpatrick to step up

29-year old QB Ryan Fitzpatrick has been awful lately and he has taken his team down with him.  The Bills are 0-6 in their last six games and they have only scored 77 points in those games.  In Fitzpatrick’s last six games, he has completed 123 of 220 passes (55.9%) for 1,271 yards with 6 TD passes and 9 INTs.  Fitzpatrick seems to be buckling under the pressure of his new...

Rayner to be fine to kick

Bills kicker Dave Rayner missed practice Wednesday and was limited on Thursday, but head coach Chan Gailey is confident he’ll be good to go come Sunday against the Dolphins. “We had Rayner limited today,” said Gailey after Thursday’s practice. ”But I think he’s going to be just fine. He kicked on the side.” Rayner said he felt pain in the middle of...

Still no Chandler

Bills TE Scott Chandler is not practicing for a third straight day. Chandler is dealing with an ankle injury that has already kept him out of last week’s game at San Diego. We’ll have his official status for Sunday’s game later today.

Bell to start Sunday

Bills head coach Chan Gailey confirmed that the plan going into Sunday’s game is for Demetrius Bell to start against the Dolphins. But that doesn’t mean that Chris Hairston won’t play Sunday. “Right now that is the plan, for him to start at left tackle,” said Gailey. “He played well last week and did some good things so we’ll give him a shot...

Roscoe wants to be back

His last two seasons have ended prematurely on injured reserve, but fully healthy now, Roscoe Parrish hopes to be back with the Bills in 2012. Parrish, who is set to become a free agent at the end of the season, wants to re-sign with the club that made him a second-round draft choice in 2005. “Yeah I would love to be back here,” he said. ”I’ve been with this team...

Are the Old Buffalo Bills Showing Their Faces Again?

If any of you have read my previous four Buffalo Bills articles, you would know I have about as much of grasp on this year’s Bills team as anyone or no one in football.  Each article shifted from low expectations before training camp to showing promise before the season started to a surprising potential as they played the first few games of the season.  Then at the bye week...

Losman May Start Against Buffalo

Season is done for the Bills.   Win for pride or lose for draft position, all I ask in return is that if former Buffalo Bills J.P. Losman gets on the field on Sunday, that the Bills get him to the ground. Not sure why I have such hatred for Losman. Could be that I was jealous that his hair was better than mine, could be that he under performed like many quarterbacks of the past...
