So much for the Broncos loss to the Patriots last week tempering the TebowMania.

Though the national media has disappeared from Dove Valley this week — maybe as much a function as the Christmas holiday and Broncos road game as anything else — the nation at large can’t get enough of the Broncos’ quarterback.

Among the items that popped up in my email box today:

- Tebow today was selected as the celebrity reader for the Pizza Hut BOOK IT! reading program’s big national story time event. Tebow will read the Dr. Seuss classic “Green Eggs and Ham” available to children nationwide via a webcast on Feb. 15, 2012. The reading program is also making a donation to the Tim Tebow Foundation.

- People Magazine was clearly desperate to get in on Tebowmania. So much so that it tracked down a college classmate of Tebow from the University of Florida for an “exclusive” interview. The interview revealed startling information, like the fact that Tebow was very busy, and “really chill — down to earth.”

- In an interview with Fox News, politician Sarah Palin said she is “Pro Tebow.” Via the Washington Post, Palin said: “You know he is so unashamed of his savior, Jesus of Nazareth. He knows Jesus is going to rock your world when you give it over to him, and he’s bold about it, and he knows that the son of God should be honored and praised. Tebow does that and I respect it.”
