Vikings G Herrera won't play vs. Packers
Minnesota Vikings coach Leslie Frazier says starting right guard Anthony Herrera will not play on Monday night against the Green Bay Packers because of a ligament injury in his left knee.

Herrera off PUP list
OG Anthony Herrera was taken off of the PUP(Physically Unable to Perform) list today. Herrera took part in group installation drills according to Judd Zulgad. Frazier stated that they didn’t expect Herrera on the field until next week and is ahead of schedule. He also wouldn’t rule out Herrera for next weeks pre-season game versus Seattle.

Vikings promote OT Brown to the active roster; put OG Herrera on IR
The Vikings have added OT Patrick Brown to the active roster and placed OG Anthony Herrera on injured reserve.
Herrera tore an ACL in his left knee in the Vikings 31-3 loss to the Packers on Sunday. The seventh-year veteran started every game this season at right guard for Minnesota. Brown is a first-year offensive tackle who was promoted from the practice squad.
