New Seahawks Safety Atari Bigby: I’m Not the Starter
I seem to remember a time back in 2007 on a snow drudged field when a guy named Atari Bigby changed the game defensively for the Green Bay Packers by just absolutely steamrolling the Seahawks offense. I can’t pull up his statistics from the game, (I tried), but I remember him causing at least one and I am almost positive multiple turnovers during a game when Seattle started up...

Green Bay Packers Won’t Re-Sign Atari Bigby
Atari Bigby has seen his last days as a Packer with his number given to rookie Alex Green.
Apparently free agent Atari Bigby won’t be re-signing with the Green Bay Packers this season. Third round draft pick Alex Green tweeted last night that his jersey number will be #20, which belonged to Bigby for the past six years.
For the past few seasons, Bigby has been the strong safety...

Packers: CB Harris & S Bigby Activation
Jrlombardi reports that Harris & Bigby will be activated.
According to sources, safety Atari Bigby and cornerback Al Harris will be activated, but how they are incorporated could be touchy. CB Williams is firmly entrenched as the starter. The coaches consider him as the top defensive back on the team. The most likely situation is Harris comes back as a nickel corner and...

Packers S Atari Bigby expected to be sidelined 4-8 weeks
According to the Associated Press, Green Bay Packers safety Atari Bigby could miss the beginning of the 2010 season after his recent ankle surgery is expected to keep him off the field for another 4-8 weeks.
Bigby had surgery on his ankle back on August 6 and was originally expected to be healthy enough to return before the team’s season opener against the Philadelphia Eagles....

Is That It For Atari Bigby?
With the news just coming out from Mike McCarthy that Atari Bigby will undergo a second ankle surgery tomorrow in North Carolina, this may spell the end for Atari in Green and Gold and perhaps his career.
I’m not surprised I guess. Quite simply, the guy has never been able to stay healthy. He’s never been one to play through injury, and his helmet off routine at the end...

Packers S Atari Bigby Lone Player To Sign A Contract
Green Bay Packers safety Atari Bigby is the lone veteran yet to sign a contract.
Bigby, a former UCF Knight, stands to lose about $54,000 if the Packers replaced his tender, which is why a source said he had no intention of signing before the deadline.
Bigby, who would have been an unrestricted free [...]

Packers Rookie SS Morgan Burnett Poised To Replace Atari Bigby?
The longer Atari Bigby stays away from the Green Bay Packers' offseason program, the better Morgan Burnett's chances of winning a starting job. With Bigby absent because he hasn't signed his restricted free agent tender, Burnett has taken all the snaps at strong safety with the starting defense during the organized team activities and the way Burnett has performed, he...

Bigby Returning….Was He Really Missed?
In football, like in most things, the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Even accepting this “truth,” it is hard to overstate the significance of Atari Bigby’s absence, the last three games because of a sprained knee, to the Packers defense.
As if the lack of Bigby’s physical presence resulting in WR and [...]
