Albert shows some leadership Left tackle Branden Albert is generally quiet and unassuming, but coach Todd Haley indicated Albert stepped out of character last week for the Minnesota game. Albert came to Haley during the week and asked that the Chiefs run behind him during the game.

Chiefs’ Flowers, Albert Leave Game With Injuries
The Kansas City Chiefs got back on track Sunday with a 31-13 victory over the Arizona Cardinals but the win came at a price.
How great a price remains to be seen.
The Chiefs saw two of their premier players leave the game with injuries, not to return.

Albert shaping up at tackle for Chiefs
When the 2009 season mercifully ended, Branden Albert was like everyone else and unsure whether he would be the Chiefs’ left tackle when they gathered again. Albert was still trying to establish himself as a quality player at his position, a premium one because it protects the back side of quarterback Matt Cassel and battles each week against the NFL’s best pass rushers.

Chiefs Should Not Draft A Tackle…But They Could Trade For One
