Kelsay’s big day next on Top 10
Chris Kelsay had a monster game in the Week 16 win over Denver and it’s our next installment in the Top 10 Performances of 2011.
Linebackers coach Bob Sanders walks us through some of Kelsay’s better plays from his 10 tackle, 3 sack performance against the Broncos, including the responsibility of flipping back and forth from OLB to DE through the course of the game.

Kelsay on 3-4 vs. 4-3
Bills veteran Chris Kelsay appeared on Sirius NFL Radio Wednesday afternoon and was asked what he’s expecting with respect to Buffalo’s defensive front moving forward with Dave Wannstedt now the team’s defensive coordinator. Here were his thoughts.

Veteran OLB/DE Chris Kelsay was asked about a possible defensive scheme change and possible coaching changes as he cleaned out his locker Monday. Here were his comments, which still apply in the wake of the change at defensive coordinator.

Kelsay awarded 3rd sack
Chris Kelsay, who arguably had his best game in a Bills uniform last Saturday, was awarded a third sack in the game.
His hit on Tim Tebow that led to the 17-yard interception return for a touchdown was originally ruled a quarterback hit and INT. The league has since changed it to a sack and forced fumble. So Kelsay’s stat line now reads 9 tackles, 3 sacks, 3 tackles for loss...

The Buffalo Bills lose OLB Chris Kelsay indefinitely
The Bills will be without 31-year old DE Chris Kelsay indefinitely due to a strained calf muscle. Kelsay has played in all four of the Bills games so far this year and he has 7 tackles and 1 pass defensed. Look for 23-year old Danny Batten to take over Kelsay’s old starting job until he’s ready to return to action. Batten has played in all four games for the Bills...

That being said, holdovers from previous regimes in Buffalo may have some trouble making the squad. The first such casualty came when the Bills recently cut last year’s 5th round selection, LB...
