Steltz hoping that experience pays off
Bears safety Craig Steltz can't be very happy about his alma mater's 21-0 loss to Alabama in the BCS Championship Game. But the former LSU star certainly has reason to be positive about his NFL future.

Steltz Likely To Start For The Injured Wright On Sunday
Craig Steltz racked up a career high 10 tackles on Sunday, when he came into replace Major Wright.
Wright was lost for the day with a shoulder sprain and it seems like after almost two seasons, he is injury prone.
Steltz came in and did a solid job of replacing Wright.
He made a mistake before the half of not boxing out RB/WR Dexter McCluster on the Hail Mary pass.
It was a big mistake...

Bears' Craig Steltz picks up steam

Manning, Chris Harris and rookie Major Wright. But inside Halas Hall,
the X-factor was the least experienced of the team's veteran safeties,
Craig Steltz.

This Is Craig Steltz. He Is Your Starting Free Safety.
The bad thing about Craig Steltz (attributed to the Chicago Tribune’s Dan Pompei via his Reader Q&A mailbag) being one of the Bears’ top two safeties, and wanted to be seen at free: coverage hang-ups, lack of speed, and general mediocrity. The good thing: We just may see more of that girl around here.
I’d like [...]
