Mendenhall says a Fullback would be a welcome sight
Tim Lester, Jon Wittman, Dan Kreider, John L. Williams.
A couple players in the past that have been and were solid fullbacks for the Black and Gold, opening holes for the likes of Jerome Bettis, Eric Pegram, Barry Foster and others.
Now the Steelers feature back is former first-round pick Rashard Mendenhall, and coming into the 2010 season, there’s no doubt the Steelers have...

Cardinals Very Concerned With Their Situation At Fullback
Pro Football Weekly hears that the Cardinals are quite concerned about their situation at fullback, where serviceable third-year pro Nehemiah Broughton was the one healthy option at last check. Reagan Maui'a, the only other fullback on the roster, has been bothered by a strained groin. The Cardinals seriously considered re-signing unrestricted free agent Dan Kreider, who provided...

Welcome to Cleveland West
Add another former Cleveland Browns player to the Arizona Cardinals roster.
The Cards added FB Charles Ali today. Apparently talks between the Cards and incumbent FB Dan Kreider broke off and are no longer negotiating, prompting the Ali signing.
Ali joins former Browns, QB Derek Anderson and Director of Player Personnel T.J. McCreight, in the Cardinals family.
Not real huge news...

Former Steelers FB Dan Krieder Inks with the Cards
The Cardinals continued their trend of acquiring former Steelers by signing veteran free agent fullback Dan Kreider today. This effectively ended the possibility of the Terrelle Smith returning to the Cardinals in 2009.

Mike Tomlin’s Day Care Back In Business
Today, at approximately four o'clock in the afternoon, football season officially begins in western Pennsylvania. No longer will Pittsburgh have to suffer through yet another season of pitiful baseball, lousy management, and idiotic trades by our inept Pirates. Tucked safely along the rolling hills of Westmoreland County, the Pittsburgh Steelers will convene their 42nd training...

The Steelers Might have the Worst Luck
The Steelyard posted an injury report for Pittsburgh this week. This one stood out immediately.
"Apparently, Kendall Simmons suffered a frostbite-like burn after applying a cold pack to his foot while watching Monday Night Football."
Unbelievable. The Steelers won't be full strength for the Chiefs this weekend. Having a lineman hurt himself watching football...
