The team today announced the signing of defensive lineman Darrion Scott, a former Minnesota Viking and Ohio State Buckeye who played for current Redskins defensive coordinator Jim Haslett on the UFL's Florida Tuskers. Redskins Sign DT Darrion Scott
Darrion Scott has been signed by the Redskins, according to NFL insider Adam Caplan. Scott fell out of favor with the Vikings after being hit with a three-game suspension in 2008 for violating the NFL's code of conduct. He'll get another shot in Washington and has the talent to be a nice backup defensive end.
