Detroit Lions Still Have a Need at Cornerback But Dre Bly Doesn’t Fill It
One unexpected participant in last week’s Detroit Lions player organized workout was Dre Bly. With the need at cornerback left untouched in last month’s draft, some began to wonder if the Lions would be wise to include Bly in their plans.

Former Lion Dre Bly Wants One More Shot In The NFL
Former Detroit Lion Dre Bly stopped by the Lions workout in hopes of earning a spot on an NFL roster, according to the Detroit Free Press. Former Lion CB Dre Bly Stops By Workouts
The Detroit Free Press reports that former Lion CB Dre Bly stopped in at mini-camp, this despite him not being on the Lions or any team for that matter right now.
Former Lion Dre Bly became the first cornerback to join the mini-camp, even though he is currently without a team. “I am just trying to stay ready, just in case,” said Bly, who still resides in the area.
