Bears DT Dvoracek tears ACL, out for the season
Chicago Bears defensive tackle Dusty Dvoracek is going on injured reserve with a torn ACL in his right knee.
On Friday, Dvoracek underwent arthroscopic surgery after initial tests were inconclusive about damage to his right knee from Saturday's preseason game with the New York Giants.

No surprise: Dvoracek done for year with torn ACL
It was reportd by a few sources earlier this week that Bears defensive tackle Dusty Dvoracek would miss the season after tearing his ACL in Saturday’s preseason game against the Giants. Dvoracek and the Bears refused to confirm that report until Friday, when doctors found the tear and repaired it.

Based on his past, it cannot come as a surprise to the Bears that Dusty Dvoracek will miss the 2009 season after tearing the ACL in his right knee Saturday night against the New York Giants.
