Chiefs Likely To Place Franchise Tag On WR Dwayne Bowe
According to the Chiefs official website, WR Dwayne Bowe, who is an unrestricted free agent, will be a candidate for the franchise tag. The Chiefs will have to decide on using the tag on either Bowe or fellow free agent CB Brandon Carr. It appears like the Chiefs will do what they can to retain Bowe heading into 2012. Chiefs WR Bowe injures neck vs. Broncos
Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Dwayne Bowe left Sunday's game against the AFC West rival Denver Broncos with a neck injury.
Bowe injured himself during a catch late in the first half. While he was able to walk off under his own power, Bowe was not on the field for the start of the second half.
Bowe had six receptions for 93 yards in the first half.

Dwayne Bowe Enters Contract Year
Dwayne Bowe had a career year for Kansas City last season. Bowes production allowed Matt Cassel to mature and take that next step as a quarterback and if Cassel continues to succeed it will be because of Bowe.
Kansas City should resign Dwayne Bowe to a long term deal. It really would be foolish not to bring back Dwayne Bowe.

Dwayne Bowe: “We will win it all”
Kansas City Chiefs WR Dwayne Bowe is having a career season and he evidently has high expectations for his team this season.
“We will win it all,” said Bowe after the game according to Bob Fescoe of 610 Sports.
Fescoe doesn’t elaborate on what he thinks Bowe meant but one could easily reach the conclusion that Bowe means the Super Bowl.
