The Texans have placed five players on waivers, including free safety Eugene Wilson, the only starter.
Others being waived today are receiver Andre Davis, linebacker Isaiah Greenhouse, linebacker Darnell Bing and defensive tackle DeMario Pressley.

Who is Eugene Wilson?
Eugene Wilson is about to begin his 6th year in the NFL after being drafted in the second round of the 2003 draft by the New England Patriots. Wilson played Free Safety for New England during his stint there.
This offseason, Wilson moved to Tampa Bay as a free agent, where he was expected to play Cornerback.
