Packers claim Green from Jets
As soon as the New York Jets released DT Howard Green, the Green Bay Packers swooped in and claimed Green on waivers.
The six-year veteran made one tackle in two games for the Jets this season. He had been signed September 15 following the season-ending injury to Kris Jenkins.
Green Bay face the Jets this Sunday.
This is all too common in the NFL these days.

Jets resign DT Howard Green; Welcome back Holmes
As i reported on Thursday when he was let go for Trevor Price, DT Howard Green was resigned to the team this morning, after yesterdays dominating 38-14 Jets win over the Bills.

Jets Cut DT Howard Green; Expect to Re-Sign Him Monday
The Jets have cut DT Howard Green today, but according to a league source, Green will re-sign with the team on Monday after the Bills game.
Green and WR Santonio Holmes will both be added to the Jets roster on Monday, meaning there will be two roster moves, possibly BOTH David Clowney, and Patrick Turner.
I’d expect the Ravens to make a run at Green, after what happened this morning...
