JACOB BELL RUMORS & GOSSIP

Rams G Bell Could Miss The Season

It’s Monday, which means it’s time for the weekly “who’s out for the season” report. On this week’s list is offensive guard Jacob Bell, who suffered what’s being called a Grade 2 MCL sprain. Bell is expected to miss 4 weeks, and if my math is … [visit site to read more]Rams G Bell Could Miss The Season - Ramblin' Fan - Ramblin...

The St. Louis Rams likely lose Jacob Bell for the rest of the year

The St. Louis Rams have likely lost 30-year old LG Jacob Bell for the rest of the year due to a Grade 2 MCL sprain.  He played in 12 games (all starts) for the Rams this year.  He has now played in 54 games (all starts) in his first four years with the Rams.  32-year old Tony Wragge will likely replace Bell in the starting lineup.  Wragge has played in 11 games (4 starts) for...

Rams keep Jacob Bell, for at least one more year

Late last month, the Rams and guard Jacob Bell played a little poker.  The Rams wanted Bell to take a significant pay cut.  Bell said no.  The Rams told him he’d be released. At some point within the next day, the Rams apparently blinked. And so Bell is still with the team.  Howard Balzer of…

The St. Louis Rams release Jacob Bell

The Rams have released 30-year old guard Jacob Bell.  Bell played in 16 games (all starts) for the Rams last season.  He played in 42 games (all starts) for the Rams in his three years in St. Louis.  The Rams will likely try to replace Bell in the free agent market.  This is not a big loss for the Rams.

Rams will release Jacob Bell

Three years ago, the Rams signed Jacob Bell to a six-year, $36 million contract.  Tomorrow, he’ll be a free agent again. Jacob Bell Out 4-6 Weeks

The Rams will be without guard Jacob Bell for all of the OTAs and minicamps as he recently had he knee “scoped” and will be out 4 – 6 weeks.  I wish this was addressed earlier in the offseason, but like Steven Jackson’s surgery, they were likely hoping rest would heal it and when it did not, they elected the surgery.  However, on the other side of the coin, better they...

Rams place LG Jacob Bell on IR

Update: NFL reporter Adam Caplan is reporting on Twitter that the St. Louis Rams have placed LG Jacob Bell on injured reserve with a torn hamstring.  Bell will now be donw for the season.  Fantasy Impact: Bell signed a lucrative contract as a free agent, and has not lived up to expectations in his first season with the team.  The sad part for the Rams is they do not...

Jacob Bell Packs on the Pounds

First and foremost, I know there are now a lot of Jason’s on the Rams new rebuilt offensive line.  2 out of the 5 starters are named Jason, but there is one player named Jacob.  The St. Louis Post Dispatch had it wrong in their headline about Jacob Bell.  They called him Jason.  Ouch. So anyway, [...]
