JASON PETERS RUMORS & GOSSIP

Eagles Jason Peters Is A Beast

The Eagles laid the smack-down to the Cowboys for the world to see.  For Eagles fans everywhere, it was a pleasure to watch.  There is a lot to take away from the Eagles performance.  One player who stood out to me is Eagles left tackle, Jason Peters. The four time pro-bowler is a massive man, listed at 6’4 340 lbs.  What makes Peters unique is his shear athleticism.  Peters...

Philadelphia Eagles LT Jason Peters Suffers Ankle Injury at Practice

The most valuable offensive lineman for the Philadelphia Eagles, Jason Peters, left practice early today with an Achilles tendon/ankle injury. Peters says that the injury is not too serious and he plans on playing against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday night. If Peters cannot start, the Philadelphia Eagles will go with King Dunlap, who started a couple of games in Peters’ place...

Eagles OL Jason Peters suffers ankle injury

Left tackle Jason Peters, the lone Philadelphia Eagles offensive lineman in the same spot as he was a year ago, suffered an ankle injury in practice Friday and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game with the Atlanta Falcons. Peters, a four-time Pro Bowl player, suffered the injury near the end of Friday's practice in a team drill. He limped out of the indoor practice facility...

Philadelphia Eagles OT Jason Peters Named Best Left Tackle in NFC East

According to a ranking by ESPN’s NFC East blogger Dan Graziano, Eagles left tackle Jason Peters is the best left tackle in the NFC East. Even though Peters has just three players who he is competing with, they are fairly good competition. Washington Redskins left tackle Trent Williams was selected with the fourth overall pick in the 2010 draft. He will likely be a starter for...

Top 11 Reasons Why Jason Peters Was Arrested

The Eagles' Pro Bowl (yeah, I'm not sure why either) tackle Jason Peters is free on a $628 bond after being arrested in Shreveport, LA for "violating the city's loud music ordinance and resisting arrest." After checking in with our Shreveport bureau (our tentacles are everywhere!), FTT has the inside scoop.11) Peters really wanted to earn Philly Fan's respect10...

Philadelphia Eagles Offensive Tackle Jason Peters Arrested

Jason Peters, the All-Pro offensive tackle of the Philadelphia Eagles, was arrested Saturday night in Louisiana. Police say Peters was blaring his music loudly and disturbing the peace. Peters is the second Eagle to be arrested this month – as ironically, his backup, King Dunlap, was arrested on March 4 for reckless driving and disorderly conduct.

Grading the Philadelphia Eagles This Season, Player by Player: Part 4, Offensive Linemen

Left Tackle, Jason Peters: Peters is not quite as bad as you may think this season. Yes, I’m still worried that he will go down as the $60 million dollar bust. But he’s ranked as the 15th best offensive tackle in the NFL (out of 71), according to Pro Football Focus. He’s been brilliant on run blocking and average on pass blocking. Peters has allowed two sacks this season, which...

Is Jason Peters Ready To Dominate?

Despite being named to his third Pro Bowl last season, I wasn’t overly impressed with Jason Peters‘ play at times. Some of his inconsistencies can be attributed to a nagging ankle injury and acclimating to a new system and coaching method, but that doesn’t explain why he didn’t quite live up to the hype after the Eagles traded to acquire his services from...

Peters Okay? Injury Report, & Rampant Speculation

Some good news coming out of the Eagles press conference today, as it was revealed Jason Peters injury is not thought to be serious.  Reid described the problem as a knee contusion and sprained ankle at his press conference on Monday, and said he expects the left tackle to work through it and be ready to play Monday Night against the Redskins. This is in conflict with a report filed...

Jason Peters is Down

In the first quarter of the Eagles - Raiders game, Jason Peters went down with an undisclosed injury. We'll bring you more once it is available. Peters limped off the field under his own power, which is a great sign. A defensive lineman fell onto the back of Peters' left leg, so hopefully he won't miss [...]
