Fla. defender Desmond Kearse picks Terps
Maryland landed its third commitment from Florida on Tuesday when Fort Myers (Fla.) Dunbar defensive end Desmond Kearse pledged to the Terps.
Kearse, a 6-foot-2½, 185-pound senior, joins Hollywood Hills defensive end Clarence Murphy and American Heritage offensive tackle Jake Wheeler as Florida natives in Maryland’s 2010 recruiting class.

Kearse Says Birds Will Miss Him
Jevon Kearse according to ESPN's Paul Kuharsky said that the Philadelphia Eagles will miss him this upcoming year and that get this , fans will be surprised by how well he plays. Seems like Jevon is finally motivated to play, guess all those millions of dollars the Eagles wasted on him wasn't enough to get his competitive juices flowing. Eagles officially cut Jevon Kearse
As was speculated, Jevon Kearse has been cut by the Philadelphia Eagles. Cutting him clears up cap space for the Eagles to pursue some top fee agents.
According to Philly.com, cutting Kearse gives the Eagles about 2.5 million more in cap space. Kearse has a contract worth 6.5 million, but cutting him is a 4 million dollar penalty against the cap.

Eagles to Cut The Freak
In a move to free up more cap space, the Eagles will cut defensive end Jevon Kearse. NFL Network's Adam Schefter reports that Kearse was offered a pay cut by the Eagles, which he refused, so the Eagles will release the 9 year veteran and his hefty 6.46 million dollar salary.
