Falcons Re-Sign Long Snapper Joe Zelenka
ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting that the Atlanta Falcons have re-signed long snapper Joe Zelenka. Zelenka was acquired by the Falcons late last year after being released by Jacksonville. Zelenka is an 11 year veteran, spending eight of those seasons in Jacksonville.

On the heels of the retirement of Mike Schneck, the Falcons have seemingly solidified their long snapper position by retaining free agent Joe Zelenka, per a report by Adam Schefter of ESPN. Long Snapper Void Refilled
The Falcons ended the 2009 season with a long snapper on injured reserve and a long snapper on the active roster. Thursday afternoon one of those players, Mike Schneck, announced his retirement. The other, in-season replacement Joe Zelenka, became an unrestricted free agent early Friday morning.

Jaguars Sign Veteran Long Snapper Joe Zelenka
The Jaguars on Thursday signed veteran long snapper Joe Zelenka to a contract extension. Terms were not disclosed for Zelenka, who has started a team-record 128 games dating to the start of the 2008 season.
