Seahawks TE Carlson to have season-ending surgery
Seattle Seahawks tight end John Carlson will undergo season-ending shoulder surgery, the team announced Tuesday.
Carlson, in the final year of his rookie deal, has not practiced for the past two weeks because of the injury.
Seattle had planned on teaming Carlson with fellow tight end Zach Miller, who was lured away from Oakland during the offseason.

Wow! Just five days after I met John Carlson's parents at the Seahawks/Rams game, I got this in the mail: MY game ticket, signed by Touchdown Jeebus himself!
