The End of Justin Hartwig
Justin Hartwig did not enter last night’s game until the middle of the third quarter and failed to impress even in that role. One which lead to a sack and two other which lead to hits on the...

Hartwig knows his future in doubt with the Steelers
The big story this week outside of the QB spot is the center spot, and the fact that Maurkice Pouncey has taken the spot away from vet Justin Hartwig.

Hartwig Fighting for His Position with Rookie Pouncey
Justin Hartwig is a Pro’s pro, and he knows that when a first-round pick is spent on a position that he plays, it’s just a matter of time before he is pushed aside for that high priced rookie.
That happened in April, as the Steelers took Florida’s Maurkice Pouncey in round one, and it sounds more and more like the Steelers are already in the changing of the guard...

Steelers Justin Hartwig and Trai Essex feeling the heat
It’s almost humanly impossible to expect a rookie to come in and start at Center. It’s extremely complex, tons of calls to be made, it takes years of practice to even begin to grasp the Steelers offense, and nobody is going to walk into training camp and pick things up so quickly that [...]

Hartwig Worst NFL Center?
I have been hearing a lot of gruff about how I am hard on Justin Hartwig so clearly I will explain myself a little bit more.
Simply put, Hartwig graded out as the worst center in the NFL last season according to the metrics used by Pro Football Focus. He was in the bottom five in four [...]
