Bills CB Leodis McKelvin is having shoulder surgery today (Tuesday).
That according to McKelvin himself who tweeted as much this afternoon.

No word at this point as to what part of McKelvin’s shoulder will be repaired. McKelvin appeared in all 16 games in 2011 including six starts.

The Buffalo Bills will be without 26-year old cornerback Leodis McKelvin for the next few weeks due to a hamstring injury. McKelvin had 4 tackles and 1 pass defensed last Sunday against the Chiefs. He has now played in 36 games in his first four years with the Bills and he has 109 tackles, 18 passes defensed, 4 interceptions (one returned for a TD), 2 forced fumbles, 1 fumble...

According to a report by Mark Gaughan of the Buffalo News, Bills cornerback Leodis McKelvin showed up for work today at One Bills Drive.
McKelvin wasn’t able to accomplish much, as the NFL league office has instructed teams not to allow players to work out.

The Bills are reporting via their official team Twitter page that cornerback Leodis McKelvin has been placed on injured reserve, ending his 2009 season. McKelvin fractured a bone in his lower leg/ankle during Week Three’s game against the New Orleans Saints.
