Lorenzo Booker understands the Vikings’ situation at running back well. Adrian Peterson, when healthy, commands the ball. But Booker is hoping to re-sign with the Vikings in free agency and believes he can do more if given the chance.

Vikings KR Lorenzo Booker responds to NFL kickoff changes
In New Orleans this week, NFL owners voted to move NFL kickoffs to the 35-yard line. The Vikings were reportedly one of the 26 teams in favor of the ruling that will keep touchbacks at the 20-yard line and keeping the two-man blocking wedge legal.
To compensate for the 5-yard difference, teams kicking off will no long have the same running start. They must stay within 5 yards of...

Lorenzo Booker, and his wallet, happy to be with Vikings
Playing in the NFL for the first time in almost two years isn't the only reason running back Lorenzo Booker is smiling these days.
He can finally put away his checkbook.
Booker, who was signed from the United Football League to the 53-man roster on Tuesday, paid the UFL's $25,000 transfer fee and also missed two regular season NFL paychecks because of the UFL's original...

In The News: FSU’s Booker Goes From UFL To NFL
Florida State’s Lorenzo Booker has the UFL to thank for his new contract with the Minnesota Vikings.
Booker had been playing for the UFL’s Hartford Colonials. The old league rules required a $150,000 transfer fee for any NFL team who wanted to sign a UFL player, resulting in Booker boycotting his team’s season finale. But after a lot of legal wrangling and some...

About a week ago, the UFL announced it would be charging a 150,000 transfer fee for players who had the opportunity to transfer from its league to the NFL. The Booker Story: One Man's Garbage Is Another Man's Garbarge
So I was reading up on the happenings of an NFC East rival and I came across the following bit regarding Lorenzo Booker. It seems that every Eagles' fan favorite whipping boy was in for a look-see with the G-Men. After watching Booker's tenure in Philly it's not surprising that Booker left without a new deal. The Giants liked Gartrell Johnson better. (So who has the...

Bye, Bye Booker
Second chances. It's been a theme during the Eagles 2009 off-season. I'll spare you another Vick post and instead focus on another Eagle who was given a second chance. Hopefully Vick has better luck then Lorenzo Booker with his second chance.Chance one was being selected in the 3rd round by the Miami Dolphins. This chance was wasted when he couldn't manage to crack the...
