Furrey signs with Redskins….

Former Browns Wide Receiver Mike Furrey signed with the Washington Redskins today. Furrey was signed to play Receiver for the team last season but played more on the defensive side of the ball. Furrey was a Walter Payton Man of the year Finalist last season. He is listed as a Wide Receiver in the Redskins Press Release so it is unkown if he will be playing defense for the Skins.

VIDEO: Going Over The Middle In Football Might Hurt A Little

I love those scrappy little receivers who have the balls to go over the middle and take the big hit. Hell, Mike Furrey had quite a campaign in 2006 using that exact strategy. But if there's a more dangerous situation in sports, I'd love to see it. I'm pretty sure the guy in this video would too.
