Northwest Athlete Profile: Mitch Berger
After seeing him on TV this week "Q" decided to write a Northwest Athlete Profile on former NFL punter and Colorado Buffalo and North Delta Secondary school athlete Mitch Berger. In 2008 he won a Super Bowl ring for the Steelers and in the big game had 3 punts averaging a legit 46.3 yards per punt. Kudo's for a great career and representing Canada in the NFL.

Despite signs to the contrary, Mitch Berger will continue to fill the Denver Broncos‘ punting duties this Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs, head coach Josh McDaniels told reporters Wednesday. The team signed punter Britton Colquitt to its active roster Wednesday.

Steelers to Receive Rings on Tuesday
On Tuesday, the Steelers (even Mitch Berger) will receive their championship rings for winning that game back in February. Y'know, Immaculate Interception, Ben to 10, record sixth title. That one. The NFL is fronting the $5,000 cost for each of the 150 rings. Sounds like they have a few more than the 53-man roster. How's about floating one my way?And, hey, what else is Tuesday...
