Broncos Sign LB Johnny Williams, Waive Greisen
Another linebacker hits the dust, but this time not in the form of an injury (at least not directly). The Broncos have waived linebacker Nick Greisen in order to make room for Johnny Williams. Greisen, a former backup to Ray Lewis, was signed last year only to tear his ACL during training camp.
Williams, who played for Kentucky in college will join former teammate Wesley Woodyard...

Broncos Re-Sign LB Nick Greisen
The Denver Broncos have re-signed linebacker Nick Greisen, according to a source. Terms of the deal weren't immediately available. The Broncos signed him to a one-year contract in 2009, but he suffered a season-ending knee injury in early August.

Today the Ravens officialy released linebacker Nick Greisen. With Lewis back, the Ravens had 4 ILBs without him, and it makes sense that Greisen would be the one to go. Other than Lewis, he is the second oldest of the 4 (Gooden, McClani, Ayanbadejo), and unlike Ayanbadejo, isn’t a perennial pro bowler.
