Chandler won’t need surgery

The MRI results on Scott Chandler’s knee from Monday offered good news for the tight end. “It’s not going to require surgery,” said head coach Chan Gailey. ”I think he’ll be fine in a few weeks.” Chandler’s prognosis is similar to that of Demetrius Bell and Kraig Urbik, who also have the same timetables before they’re back to being 100 percent healthy.
