Titans agree to terms with DL Shaun Smith
An agent for Shaun Smith says the defensive lineman has agreed to terms with the Tennessee Titans.
Neil Schwartz confirmed the deal to The Associated Press. Tennessee has declined comment on any deals until the team is able to sign veterans Friday afternoon.

Did Lions know Shaun Smith would be suspended?
Hmmm. The Lions made veteran defensive tackle Shaun Smith their most surprising cut Saturday when they reduced the roster to the 53-man limit. Now ESPN.com reports Smith has been suspended for four games for violating the NFL's anabolic steroids policy.
Obviously you have to wonder if the Lions knew or had an inkling Smith would be suspended. We'll ask after practice.
