Is Kellen Moore the right choice for the Seahawks?
The quarterback position for the Seattle Seahawks is an obvious need during the 2012 NFL draft, but is Kellen Moore the right choice? The Seahawks need a new QB. After a eight seasons as Matt Hasselbeck as their starting QB they were left with a hole to fill. It was painfully apparent that Charlie Whitehurst was not the guy to fill that position and then Tarvaris Jackson came along...

Seattle Seahawks, NFC West: From cellar to stellar?
For the past five years the NFC West has been called the worst division in pro football. They have even received the nickname the NFC worst. Now there is reason for this nickname as two seasons ago the Seattle Seahawks won the division with a 7-9 record. Furthermore the St. Louis Rams have put up terrible seasons the past five years. But with the San Francisco 49ers finally...

An Open Letter to Tarvaris Jackson
Dear Tarvaris,
Hey, it’s Seattle. Looking back at this year, we’ve been through a lot together, haven’t we?
When Pete Carroll brought you in to replace Matt Hasselbeck, fans were unimpressed. You didn’t really do anything worthwhile when you were the starting quarterback in Minnesota, even playing terrible at times. An average NFL fan’s perspective of you was a young...

A Year In Review – Tarvaris Jackson
This was an important year for Tarvaris Jackson’s career. His window as a potential starting quarterback seemed to be over after his time in Minnesota. Had it not been for the lockout and the extremely shortened offseason, it likely would have been.
Instead, the Seahawks gave his career as a starter one last shot since he already knew the the new offense that was being installed...

Forget Lynch and think about why Jackson isn’t in the Pro Bowl
While many Seahawk fans waste time lamenting the omission (for now) of Marshawn Lynch from the pointless Pro Bowl, we’d rather rue the fact that Tarvaris Jackson is not a Pro Bowl quarterback.
We don’t mean that he deserved to be and simply is not; we mean that he is not and never will be.
Jackson’s failure against the 49ers last weekend sticks out more than anything from that...

Seahawks Tarvaris Jackson a passing trend downward

We need to look at the film, see how he played and the decisions and things like that, but I know he's trying his tail off to get it done." -- Pete Carroll after Sunday's gameTarvaris Jackson isn't healthy. That's obvious at this point, his pectoral muscle injured to the point that he wasn't able to throw...

Tarvaris Jackson and his hope chest
RENTON -- Tarvaris Jackson would prefer a busier work week."I always want to be out there practicing," Jackson said. But Jackson's injured pectoral muscle means that even now -- a month and a half after the injury -- he doesn't throw on consecutive days.So while coach Pete Carroll said Jackson is feeling better this week than he was after previous games, Jackson...

Seahawks QB Jackson gives himself failing grade
Seattle Seahawks quarterback Tarvaris Jackson apparently isn't grading on a curve.
When asked how he would assess his performance in his first year as a starter with his new team, Jackson didn't hold back to the Seattle Times.
"We're a 2-5 team, and a quarterback's (job) is to help the team win as much as possible," Jackson told the newspaper on Friday...
