Uche Nwaneri and the Phantom Call
Jack Del Rio said the call against Uche Nwaneri in the second quarter of the Eagles game was a phantom call. I thought we could take another look at it and decide for ourselves. So here it is:

Uche Nwaneri signed a five-year extension reportedly worth $24 million, making him one of the long-term building blocks for Jacksonville's offense.

Jags and OL Uche Nwaneri agree on a new five-year deal
The Jaguars and starting OL Uche Nwaneri have agreed on a new deal worth roughly $24 million over five years. The deal includes anywhere from $8-$9 million guaranteed, according to an NFL source. OG Uche Nwaneri Could Be Moved To Center
The Florida Times Union reports that guard Uche Nwaneri has been working at center during the Jaguars minicamp. It’s believed he’ll get a shot to beat out Brad Meester for the center position, and we think he’s got a shot. Nwaneri would otherwise provide solid depth for a unit that hopes to improve their rushing attack.
