The Detroit Lion worked out former New York Jets first-round bust Vernon Gholston, according to a league source with knowledge of the situation. The former Ohio State star tried out for the Houston Texans earlier this season. Gholston didn't succeed with the Jets or during a brief stint with the Chicago Bears.
