Willie Colon’s cap number makes it hard to cut him
Steelers offensive tackle Willie Colon who has only played one game in the last two seasons is on my list of guys who should be gone this offseason. After looking at all the cap numbers and potential cost savings to the Steelers by players who could be released it looks like we will be stuck with Colon for another season at least. He basically can’t be cut.

That'll Be One Start In Two Years For Willie Colon
Willie Colon had a strange and unexpected ascent two years ago. In 2008, Colon was the biggest liability on a much maligned offensive line that ended up being part of a Super Bowl champion, That year, Colon could be counted on for nothing much besides drive-killing penalties and an inability to read the pass rush.So it took many, including myself, by complete shock when Colon transformed...

Willie Colon does not plan to be a Steeler in 2011
Willie Colon is up for Free Agency this year and even though he says he wants to be a Steeler, he thinks that there is very little chance that he returns to the team. Colon is looking for a big payday and he doesn’t see it coming from the Steelers organization.
Colon is already receiving interest from teams around the league. This is not surprising. Colon was our best...
