One of the most interesting aspects of the 2013 Cleveland Browns is that despite the losses on the field, I’m still very satisfied with the organizational structure that’s been built in Berea. The organizational structure they’ve put in place is by far the most comprehensive of any I can remember since 1999, and that starts at the top with CEO Joe Banner. I’ve said on a number...
The Cleveland Browns have declared Ahtyba Rubin, Brian Hoyer, MarQueis Gray, Martin Wallace, Shawn Lauvao, Armonty Bryant and Paul Hazel inactive for Week 2′s game against the Baltimore Ravens.
Rubin injured his calf in the Friday practice before the team’s Home Opener loss to the Miami Dolphins. Billy Winn will start in Rubin’s place as the Browns front seven looks to replicate...
Browns starting defensive end Ahtyba Rubin will miss the season opener against Miami with a calf injury.
The underrated Rubin, one of Cleveland's top linemen the past five seasons, hurt his calf in practice earlier this week. With Rubin out, second-year end Billy Winn will start at left end against the Dolphins. The Browns have depth on their defensive line, so the loss of Rubin...

Tony Grossi of ESPN Cleveland believes the Browns could be open to trading either DE/OLB Jabaal Sheard or DL Ahtyba Rubin.
Grossi points out that both players still have market value and believes Sheard could fetch a second-round pick for the Browns.
Grossi adds that he wouldn’t rule out the Browns taking an outside linebacker at No. 6 overall.
With the Browns implementing...
The Cleveland Browns might someday dominate the defensive line when they get Ahtyba Rubin and Phil Taylor back. That won’t be the case this Sunday.
The Browns injury report as of Friday says that Rubin, Dimitri Patterson and (of course) Scott Fujita are out.
Mohamed Massaquoi, Trent Richardson and Tashaun Gipson are questionable.
The probables are Montario Hardesty, John Hughes...
Browns starting linebacker Scott Fujita and defensive tackle Ahtyba Rubin will not play against Cincinnati because of injuries.
Fujita was listed on Cleveland's injury report this week with a shoulder/neck injury. He missed two practices during a week in which he slammed NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell for his handling of the New Orleans' bounty scandal. With Fujita out,...

BEREA Ahtyba Rubin is a man of few words. His actions speak much louder than his words.
His play on the field and his example in the locker room has earned him the honor of being this weeks fourth captain. He joined captains Phil Dawson, Joe Thomas and DQwell Jackson in putting the players through stretching at the start of practice Wednesday.
Hes a quiet and reliable guy, Pat Shurmur...
