AKEEM JORDAN RUMORS & GOSSIP
The Washington Redskins released LB Akeem Jordan from the injured reserve list on Saturday, according to the NFL transactions release.
Washington placed Jordan on the season-ending injured reserve list close to a month ago with a knee injury, which in turn freed up a roster spot for DE Stephen Bowen, who was activated from the physically unable to perform list.
Entering the offseason there was a lot of uncertainty from at the inside linebacker positions for the Redskins. London Fletcher had retired from after spending the last seven of his 16-year career with the Redskins. Perry Riley, Jr. was a free agent and Keenan Robinson, who was tagged the heir apparent to Fletcher, hadn't played much in his first two seasons after spending each season...

ASHBURN, Va. (AP) The Washington Redskins activated defensive end Stephen Bowen from the physically unable to perform list Saturday ahead of their Sunday against the Tennessee Titans.
Bowen resumed practice this week after a long recovery from surgery on his right knee.
To make room for Bowen, the Redskins placed linebacker Akeem Jordan on injured reserve. Jordan also has a knee injury.
