The 49ers have signed special-teams ace C.J. Spillman to a three-year, $6 million contract extension that includes $1.8 million in guaranteed money.
The deal was reached today at the combine. Spillman was a restricted free agent and the first of the 49ers free agents to sign before the start of free agency.
