Bears sign cornerback Hurst to 2-year extension

LAKE FOREST, Ill. (AP) The Chicago Bears signed cornerback Demontre Hurst to a two-year extension Wednesday through the 2016 season. Hurst appeared in 15 games last season, finishing with 35 defensive tackles, an interception, a forced fumble and eight special teams stops. An undrafted free agent out of Oklahoma, he spent the 2013 season on Chicago's practice squad.
