Erik Walden was ejected from last Sunday’s game for making contact with an official. At the time it appeared that Walden and Jermaine Gresham were having some words after a play when Walden touched the official. The flag was immediately thrown, and he was removed from the game.
The league will not suspended Walden for any more games, but did issue him a 27 thousand dollar fine...

Walden says he didn't mean to bump umpire Bruce Stritesky late in the first half. Instead, Walden says he was trying to move around Stritesky so he could hear and see which Bengals player was talking to him.

Erik Walden was thrown out of yesterday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals for making contact with an official. It appeared though that we was just trying to get head linesman Bruce Stritesky’s arm off of him after the play. Walden appeared to be in a tussle with a Bengals player when Stritesky approached him.
