Ebert was a seventh-round draft pick by New England Patriots in 2012. He also spent time on Philadelphia's practice squad last season. He re-signed with the Patriots on Jan. 21 and was waived April 29.

Patriots have informed WR Jeremy Ebert he will be released, per source. Ebert a 7th-round pick out of Northwestern in 2012.

This doesn’t come as a surprise since Ebert didn’t contribute at all to the Patriots offense.
