Bears sign cornerback, drop rookie kicker
The Chicago Bears signed cornerback Jeremy Ware and waived kicker David Teggart on Saturday. Ware, a seventh-round pick by Oakland in 2010, was waived by the Raiders after training camp last year. He appeared in eight games for the Raiders in 2010, recording one interception and three passes defensed. The Bears had signed Teggart, an undrafted rookie out of Connecticut, in May.
