The New York Jets signed fullback John Conner Saturday to replace Chris Pressley, who was placed on injured reserve. Conner was drafted by the Jets in 2010 but was cleared from the roster earlier this season in an injury settlement. Pressley injured his right knee in Thursday night's victory over the Philadelphia Eagles. He started in seven of the 14 games he played this year.
