DAVIE, Fla. (AP) -- Receiver Julius Pruitt has re-signed with the Miami Dolphins, who cut him near the end of training camp last year.
Pruitt played nine games with Miami in 2011, mostly on special teams.
The Dolphins also signed receiver Keenan Davis, an undrafted rookie free agent receiver from Iowa. Receivers Armon Binns and Jasper Collins were waived-injured Wednesday.
After working out some wide receivers on Tuesday, the Dolphins made their decision with the signings of Julius Pruitt and Keenan Davis, to go along with both Armon Binns and Jasper Collins being waived/injured.
After working out three wide receievers, the Dolphins have signed the one most familiar to them, Julius Pruitt.
Pruitt has been in camp with the Dolphins for the last three seasons but appeared in only nine regular season games, all in 2011. He was cut during the preseason of 2012.
