Panthers add CFL Kicker Justin Medlock
The Panthers have signed kicker Justin Medlock 2007 draft pick of the Kansas City Chiefs who has played well in the Canadian Football League the last few years.
The team waived kicker Adi Kunalic, so Medlock will compete for playing time against veteran kicker Olindo Mare.

The Carolina Panthers signed kicker Justin Medlock to a three-year contract Wednesday.Medlock will earn $390,000 in 2012 with base salaries of $480,000 and $570,000 for 2013 and 2014.Medlock has spent the last three years in the Canadian Football League. According to a league source, the Carolina Panthers have signed free agent kicker Justin Medlock, terms were not disclosed. A 2007 fifth-round pick out of UCLA by the Kansas City Chiefs, Medlock went 1-for-2 on field goal attempts in his NFL debut before he was released and replaced with veteran Dave Rayner.
