The St. Louis Rams claimed rookie running back Terrance Ganaway and defensive tackle Kellen Heard off waivers to fill two open roster spots.

Bills DT Heard limps off with right leg injury
Buffalo Bills defensive tackle Kellen Heard limped off and did not return after hurting his lower right leg midway through practice Tuesday night.

With Torell Troup going on injured reserve Buffalo’s options for a 3-4 nose tackle are down to two.
Realistically only Marcell Dareus and Kellen Heard are capable of being an effective nose tackle in a 3-4 front for Buffalo now. Of late the Bills have played more of a 4-3 front, so the loss of Troup might not be that severe.
