49ers make move to bolster linebacker corps
With Aldon Smith and two other linebackers injured, the San Francisco 49ers signed linebacker Kenny Rowe to a two-year contract. They also waived safety Mark LeGree. Rowe signed as undrafted free agent in 2011 and was released after training camp. He is expected to fill in for Smith, who suffered a bruised hip Friday against Minnesota. Rookies Darius Fleming and Cam Johnson did not play Friday.
