Jets preparing as if Landry can't answer Bell
When the Jets inked safety LaRon Landry to a one-year deal earlier this offseason, they knew it was a risk-reward move. When healthy, Landry's is among the NFL's top play-making safeties. The only problem, Landry is coming off consecutive Achilles injuries and his rehabilitation is going slower than anticipated. New York is prepared to begin the year without Landry in its...

LaRon Landry absent for Jets’ OTAs
LaRon Landry was the 6th overall pick of the 2007 NFL Draft, but when he refused to get surgery on his Achilles, recommended by Redskins doctors, the Redskins were content to let him go. Because of fears about his Achilles, Landry drew little to no interest on the open market, except from the incredibly safety needy New York Jets. However, the Jets may wish they hadn’t signed him...

Bell's addition can solidify 46 defense
With the addition of Yeremiah Bell and LaRon Landry and drafting Josh Bush and Antonio Allen late in the draft last month, the Jets have made a concise decision to put a stop team's beating them with their tight ends.In the past the Jets have been among the bottom in the league as far as defenses against the tight end -- where their safeties have either been outweighed or outmatched...

Jets’ LaRon Landry not regularly participating in offseason conditioning program
When LaRon Landry refused to get surgery on his Achilles, a surgery recommended strongly by Redskins team doctors, the Redskins had no problem letting their former #6 overall pick go. With the bad Achilles, he got little to no interest on the open market, aside from the New York Jets, who, in desperate need of safety help, gave him a heavily incentivized 4 million dollar deal and...

Video: LaRon Landry is a workout beast
Not long ago we saw a picture of Laron Landry looking a bit like the Incredible Hulk. While I know the guy is jacked, I honestly assumed it was photoshopped. Well, maybe not… Courtesy of youngnfly.net, here is a video of Laron Landry “Laroning”… I think it’s safe to say the guy has been hitting [...]

Is LaRon Landry Too Big?
Is LaRon Landry too big? I couldn't believe it when I saw these pictures on Redskins Talk. The guy looks more like a body builder than a football player. He only played 8 games last year and I don't think that will change. Guys this big just tend to be less flexible and get injured more. Let's hope that is not the case though.
Make sure you check out the

GAH!
Redskins safety LaRon Landry is ripped
You sit down at your normal curling station at your local gym, and you look to your right. Oh hey, why is that guy curling the entire stack? And oh hey, look two of his buddies are standing on the weights as well. What is that, like, 700 pounds? Hey, that’s former LSU missile/defensive back [...]
