Lions Sign Guard Jake Scott, Receiver Micheal Spurlock
A day after signing offensive guard Leroy Harris, the Detroit Lions add another veteran guard – Jake Scott.
As first reported by Tim Twentyman on Twitter, Scott signed a one-year deal with the Lions Tuesday morning.
The move makes the interior of the Lions offensive line even more crowded as the organization continues to stockpile bodies.

The Chargers claimed WR Micheal Spurlock off waivers from the Jaguars and waived RB Curtis Brinkley.
